Annie Lu, 21 years old, is an up and coming Vancouver-based jazz trumpeter/composer and classically trained pianist currently studying in McGill University.
Over the past few years, she’s participated and received honorable mentions in many festivals including TD Vancouver Jazz Festival, BCMEA honor band, Idaho Jazz Festival, TD Ottawa Youth Summit, Montreal Jazz Festival des Jeunes and many more.
She has had the honor to share the stage and play alongside Ambrose Akinmusire, John Hollenbeck, Greg Cohen, Paul Nedzela, Terri-Lynn Carrington and Jean-Michel Pilc.
